Oh Einstein, You’re So Neat.

To everyone who keeps parading around the hallmark-esque internet-sensation quote that Einstein supposedly said about living life as if everything is a miracle – this contains what he REALLY said:

“Reichenstein asked Einstein about Arthur Liebert’s theory that uncertainty and indeterminism in quantum mechanics allows for the possibility of miracles. Einstein replied that he could not accept the argument because it dealt ‘with a domain in which lawful rationality does not exist. A miracle, however, is an exception from lawfulness; hence, there where lawfulness does not exist, also its exception, i.e., a miracle, cannot exist.’” [Oh Einstein... you're so neat.]

And to further my point… It’s more likely that Einstein said this: “The world we have made as a result of the level of thinking we have done thus far creates problems that we can’t solve at the same level as the level we created them at” instead of the internet’s popular-pasteurized-new-age-meme version: “You can’t solve a problem with the same consciousness that created it.”
